Kimberly Kembel, LPCC, LICDC, NCC, CCATP-CA, AAT
Counselor
Kimberly is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC), and certified in Animal-Assisted Therapy. She works with individuals ages 5 through adulthood, helping clients navigate relationships, emotions, life challenges, and major transitions.
Life can be complicated—even for people who are successful, capable, and used to handling things on their own. Sometimes you can know something needs to change without knowing exactly what that change should look like. Therapy provides a space to slow down, breathe, gain perspective, and work through the decisions and challenges that can feel overwhelming on your own.
Kimberly takes a person-centered, collaborative approach, recognizing that no two people are the same and therapy should be tailored to the individual—not a one-size-fits-all approach. She incorporates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients build insight, confidence, coping skills, and meaningful change.
For adults, Kimberly supports clients navigating separation, divorce, relationship changes, career decisions, and major life transitions. Whether you are questioning whether to stay or go, considering a major change, or simply trying to understand what you truly want, therapy can help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
For children and teens—particularly high-achieving kids who may feel pressure to have it all together—Kimberly provides a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space to work through school challenges, relationships, confidence, coping skills, emotions, and the many changes that come with growing up.
Therapy isn’t about being told what decision to make or having someone give you all the answers. It’s about working together to understand what you’re feeling, explore your options, identify what matters most to you, and find a path forward that feels right for you.
