Kimberly Kembel, NCC, LPC, LICDC
Counselor
Kimberly is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is National Board Certified in Counseling. She enjoys working with individuals ages 5 and older to empower them through exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, CBT, and mindfulness are evidence-based practices that she utilizes in sessions to help individuals achieve their future goals and overcome current struggles. While these are her preferred interventions, she realizes that each person has individualized needs, and therefore needs individualized care.
She strongly believes that a key component of therapy is the therapeutic connection. She makes an effort to develop a relationship based on trust, safety, and respect with each client. She believes that everyone has a unique story to offer. In the modern world, it is easy to let stress, depression, relationships, parenting, and life transitions get the better of us. Kimberly is able to make connections with her clients that are necessary to reduce these issues that are commonly seen in mental health.
Kimberly has obtained a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. She also has obtained a bachelor’s degree in substance abuse counseling and a minor in child abuse recognition from the University of Cincinnati.
When she is not working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, and her dogs, and glitter-fying everything!

She is being supervised by Kelsey Wargo, MA, LPCC-S, CCTP-II.
